Success Stories!

Came for Rehab AFter Rotator Cuff Surgery

Kay came to Jennifer in 2005 after being recommended by her doctor for rehab following rotator cuff surgery. Twenty seven years earlier Kay had suffered a stroke and was partially paralyzed on her left side. After a year of "single-side" training techniques, Kay is now using her left side, which included relearning how to use her left hand and left side muscles once again. Her rotators are strong on both sides and she has a new life ahead of her by walking more efficiently with better balance using her left side more for body balance-eliminating the need for more surgeries in the future caused by favoring one side.

Excelling Beyond His Dreams...

Alex came to Jennifer for help after being "cut" junior year from his favorite sport of basketball. After extensive running, plyometrics and weight training, Alex became the Captain of his soccer team and had a super varsity season in basketball, excelling way beyond his dreams!

Became "Trainee of the Year"...

Autumn trained with Jennifer to lose weight and get in better health. The winner of our first annual "Trainee of the Year" award in 2001, Autumn lost over 50 lbs. and ran her first marathon.

Came for Rehab After a Herniated Lumbar Disc

Jennifer's husband finally began rehab training with her (after 15 years of marriage) after he herniated a lumbar disc in 2005 during competitive water skiing. After "winter-training" and working on muscle balance through his core and all over, he now skis again pain-free!

No Longer Needs a Cane

"C" came in on a cane. With prior aspirations of traveling upon retirement, her plans had been set aside due to spinal fusion, hip and knee replacement, cancer and other factors. After training only a few months, she again travels, uses no cane, and can lift more weight than some of the advanced clients.

Lost 30 Inches

"H" came in wanting to lose weight. After one month she had lost 11 inches, and at last count had lost a total of 30 inches in five months.

She Wanted to Feel Better About Herself

"B" wanted to get into better shape, but she had never been athletic and simply wanted to feel better about herself, so she gave training a try. She began to run and started to lift using light weights because her upper body was very weak, a common condition for many women. She continued over time to pursue her training and ran more. Soon she was lifting heavier weights and training for a marathon. She ran her first marathon in less than 4 hours and had her first child while still able to lift and stay in incredible shape! She was "Trainee of the Year 2002".

More to come! Jennifer has trained over 400 students!
